    H. Bahador

    Principal

    With 20 years of experience teaching STEM disciplines, our principal is a life-long student and teacher! He completed his B. Sc. in Physics and Masters in Mathematics from University of Waterloo, Masters in Education from Canisius University in Buffalo, and earned OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) and PQP (Principal Qualifications Program) status in the province of Ontario.

    E. Ang

    Science

    Eliza’s B. Sc. and B. Ed. are both done at York University. She has geared up as an OCT with teaching experience in Canada and in the UK. Students in her class benefit from having a passionate and creative teacher who goes above and beyond the mainstream curriculum and educational standards in order to make sure her students are on the right track to success!

    S. Leung

    AP Psychology

    Sylvia has a BA from Simon Frasor University. Her engaging lessons in AP Psychology make students develop a positive attitude towards the subject. Sylvia is currently a part-time teacher at TSS preparing our AP students for their academic journey ahead.

    A. Nee

    Computer Science

    Andrew is an OCT with his BSc and MA from Depaul University and Saint Xavier University of Illinois, U.S.A.. He is a dedicated educator in AP Computer Science at Toronto STEM School. Passionate about technology, he guides students through programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures both in our AP program and robotics program. He sets high expectations, encouraging innovative problem-solving and providing personalized support for AP exam success.

  • S. Chen

    Calculus

    Shutong Chen is an educator who earned his specialist degree from the University of Toronto. With over three years of teaching experience, he has dedicated much of his career to instructing high school-level math courses, providing students with a strong foundation in various mathematical concepts. Throughout his teaching journey, Shutong has also had the opportunity to teach IB Calculus, where he has helped students excel in this advanced curriculum. In addition to his classroom work, Shutong has served as a trainer for a number of math competitions, including the Canadian International Math Contest (CIMC), the Canadian Senior Math Contest (CSMC), Hypatia, and Pascal.

    J. Miller

    English

    Julia brings over six years of diverse teaching experience, having taught English to students from K-12 and adults in Canada and South Korea. She earned her Honours BA in English Studies and History from Nipissing University and a TESL Ontario College Graduate Certificate. Julia’s passion lies in creating dynamic learning environments that foster meaningful interactions and personal connections.

    Economics

    Lucy holds a Master's degree in Natural Resource Economics from the Australian National University. With over five years of experience teaching AP Economics, she possesses an expert understanding of how to master the AP exam. Lucy is passionate about making economics engaging by connecting complex theories to real-world examples, effortlessly transforming challenging concepts into easy-to-understand lessons.

    E. Kaur

    Chemistry

    Rupee, a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, holds an Honours BSc in chemistry and a MSc in analytical and physical chemistry. She’s been teaching science and senior-level chemistry for over five years, inspiring students in both in-person and online settings. Rupee’s dedication to student success shines through as she guides them through complex scientific concepts, fostering the skills and confidence needed for academic excellence.

    Counsellor

    Yalda has her B. A. in Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University. She has been working with TSS for over 3 years. Her contribution with regards to improving students’ mental health and well-being is key to our growth as a community which promotes care, dignity and passion for education and learning.

    Consultant

    Shahram has been providing advice with regards to various business, marketing and immigration matters. He has received his degree from CSIC. He works with international students with regards to their various immigration matters. Shahram’s background is in Arts and Photography.

    Astrid possesses a passion and extensive experience in the education sector, along with diverse experience in various countries. Committed to engaging in diverse educational initiatives, she utilizes her passion as a Marketing Coordinator to create impactful learning environments that promote student growth, enhance outreach, and effectively connect with students and the community.
