Overview of AP Courses and/or Exams

Fully Approved by the College Board

Toronto STEM School is a College Board member school and has been offering AP (Advanced Placement) Programs for over 10 years. Thousands of students have successfully earned AP credits through our programs and examinations.

We are an authorized AP and SAT testing centre, with College Board Centre Number 826335. Through our partnership with the College Board, students have access to rigorous academic opportunities that can strengthen university applications and potentially earn university credits.

Courses and Examinations

We offer 14 AP Courses (virtual-live) and 30 AP Exams (in-person) for the 2026–27 academic year. Our AP offerings are available to both TSS students and students from other schools who may not have access to specific AP courses or examinations at their home institution.

Convenient Location

All AP examinations are administered in person at our campus, conveniently located near Eglinton Station and Mount Pleasant Station, making it easily accessible to students from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

All AP courses are delivered through live online instruction, providing students with the flexibility to learn from anywhere while benefiting from a structured, interactive, and engaging classroom experience.

Late Testing

Late-testing dates are available for selected AP examinations. Students who require a late-testing option should contact us at info@torontostemschool.com to discuss available arrangements.

Our full-time high school program offers OSSD + AP Capstone Diploma!

AP Capstone

A two-year program that helps students to develop their independent research, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. The program consists of two core courses: AP Seminar and AP Research. Students who complete these two courses and earn a score of at least 3 in four other AP courses earn the AP Capstone Diploma*, demonstrating their college-level academic skills. (*The AP Capstone Diploma is only offered to our full-time students.)

It’s As Easy As 1,2,3

Before advancing to the next stage of enrolling into an AP Course and/or Exams, students must securely submit their ID’s.

We offer a variety of exams and courses. When enrolling please specify the total number of exams and/or courses you wish to take. There are four enrollment options available: Exam-Only, Course-Only, Course/Exam Bundle, and Mixed AP with Ontario (for Bio and Comp. Sci).
