AP Cybersecurity is a new course developed and launched by the Collegeboard as of Fall 2026. AP Cybersecurity trains students in the field and aligns closely with standard first-year collegiate cybersecurity courses. Students explore defense-in-depth strategies and learn to address specific vulnerabilities, attacks, mitigations, and detection measures across a variety of domains, including physical spaces, computer networks, devices, applications, and data. Developed in partnership with college faculty and industry leaders, this yearlong course aligns with the NICE Workforce Framework.

Our live virtual format allows students to engage directly with experienced instructors, ask questions in real time, and collaborate with peers in a structured and supportive learning environment. Regular assessments, problem-solving sessions, and AP-style practice exams ensure students are well-prepared for the official AP examination administered by the College Board.

By the end of the course, students will have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, preparing them for success in STEM-related university programs and beyond.

The content, assignments, and assessments will be based upon the AP Course and Exam Description available in the AP Classroom website or here.
